Linda:
Deja vu! I had trouble with my computer 'after' downloading SP3. It would take several minutes to open one program (like 12-15 min.), and sometimes the program wouldn't open at all! When I used 'Ctrl' + 'Alt' + 'Del', there would be nothing listed in the dialog box because there was no program running. I then uninstalled SP3 and my computer seemed fine until I clicked on 'start', 'accessories', 'system tools', then 'defragmenter'. I got the same exact message as Vince. I am sure it was because of the uninstall of SP3! Is there a fix anywhere out there?
