Default Re: Tabs - Desktop and Screen Saver disappear from Display

Hi Adam,

This is often caused by a third party "Desktop" program. One being Desktop
Architect.

Restore All Display Tabs and Display Icon (Line 285)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Added info:

See if this helps/applies: Start/Run/Regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\System

Look in the right pane for a value called NoDispBackgroundPage. If it exists
is set to a value of 1. Change it to 0 (double click where it says
NoDispBackgroundPage). Or you can right click the entry and select Delete.
This has the same effect as setting it to 0.

Restore the Desktop and Screensaver Tabs (Line 128)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
