Default USB Removable Device Problems

I have an App that is the custom shell. The app will only allow the user to
export certain file to removable media - a USB thumb drive is the intended
device. I have the right components in my build but it is internmittent in
classifying a thumbdrive as a removable device. Most recently I can plug in
one tumb drive and the app reports no remoavble media - I plug in a second
tumb drive and the second gets reported as removable media.

I'm at a loss - anyone have suggestions?

Check out if you happened to add the "USB Boot Mass Strage Device Update" component in your build.
