Default RAM Boot

Hi All,

I would like to deploy and boot XP embedded from RAM. I have been
following the Microsoft Tutorial:

RAM Boot Using SDI in Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 1
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms838543.aspx

I have so far managed to deploy a working image of XP embedded with
SP2 and EWF on compact flash. In the tutorial I have managed to get as
far as preparing the SDI image. I have read elsewhere that you aren't
supposed to import the NTLDR and STARTROM.COM files from the
remotebootmanager\downloads folder.

After I have prepared this new SDI file I am confused as to what I do
next.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Default Re: RAM Boot

The link you posted is useful for RAM boot scenarios with custom bootstrap programs.
Better links for you to start with the Remote Boot feature are as follows:

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms838569.aspx
