Hi, I would like to know how can I enable Windows XP with more than 5 remote
sessions currently. Please help me. I have tried somany methods with a dll called termsrv.dll, but it does not let me work with more than 5 sessions, and I need 7 sessions. Thanks a lot. |

You have come to a Microsoft Newsgroup asking how to do something not supported in the version of Windows you are trying to do it with. Given your needs (7 remote sessions) - it seems pretty foolish to be attempting this with a non-server Windows-based OS anyway, IMHO. -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html |

But, is not there any kind of software able to do that? Citrix? VPN? I know
it is a situation for a server, but I can't use it in this situation. If you ran LINUX on your workstation instead of Windows Vista or XP you
could have more than five X sessions running. -- Al Jarvi (MS-MVP Windows – Desktop User Experience) Please post *ALL* questions and replies to the news group for the mutual benefit of all of us... LOL!
That was really something like telling Microsoft on how to crack XP ![]() And yes, messing with the termsv.dll kills RDP on the machine. I've been using WinConnect XP - thirdparty tool for multiple RDC sessions and it works great! Good luck ! Best.
