I have a new computer running XP professional . This is my first time using XP.
I can get my mail, but can't send mail out. I think the problem may have to do with the way my name appears in the From field in my outgoing mail. It looks like this and I don't know how to change it. MY NAME <myusername@comcast.net> -myusername@comcast.net |

Go to Comcast's website and there are tutorials for setting up your email with whatever email program you are using. Malke -- MS-MVP Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic! call your internet service provider and ask them to configure you mail
program with their settings. Let me know if that works, it should. Best Regards, Kaja "nuorlenzgal" wrote: > I have a new computer running XP professional .
