Built computer in Mar 2008 with the following:
Asus P5K Deluxe
Intel Q6600 cpu
2Gb Crucial Ram
Asus EN8600 GT with 512Mb DDR3 memory
2 SATA HD's in non-raid
Not overclocked.
Just 2 days ago I tried to open an .avi vid file and got the BSOD,
same with an .mpg or .wmv.
Quicktime and Real open ok.
Have not installed any software or hardware components in the last 4
weeks.Done an antivirus scan with AVG Free and a trojan scan w Trojan
Remover. removed or healed. Also took MS KB advice on this error and
did an recovery from the CD, problem still exists
The error codes I got are:
0x0000000A (0x00000016, 0x0000001c, 0x00000000, 0x804F9F6A)
Have uninstalled graphics drivers and re-installed latest. Ran
Memtest86+ V.2.01and no problems with Memory.
Any ideas on how to resolve this problem?
