Hi,

after getting a new PC I came in some trouble installing the Embedded
Studio. First problem was while installing the sql server - it said
blanksapwd=1 must be set, but did not tell where to set it. Finally I
found out that it belonged into the setup.ini. Is this due to stronger
security demands on XP SP3 machines?

Then I was able to install it on one PC, but on the other one
installing the sql server alway leads in the end to a reversing
progress bar, and without any message the installer closes. This
machine already had Visual Studio 2005 installed, with some other sql
stuff, but removing Visual Studio and its sql systems made no change
in this behaviour, also cleaning harddisk and registry from all sql
stuff did not help.

This second PC is not that important, but sooner or later I would like
to install the Embedded Studio to it - how?

Any hint is welcome :-)
