I have a configuration that includes FBWF (threshold 64MB, disabled).
My target has both a fixed CF disk and a standard SATA drive. If I unplug the CF card and run the FBA on the targets SATA drive it completes without errors (except the standard: Failed to open FBWF FBA Exclusion key... in the FBA LOG), but when I run the FBA on the CF card the fba.exe fails with an application error while "Resetting Setup Flag". I'm pretty sure that this is related to the FBWF, because I can reproduce the error if I reset the FBAWashHere key for the last FBA phase (that calls the fbwfdll.dll ConfigureFBWF) and re-run the fba.exe from a console window. It seems as the FBWF is configured correctly according to the fbwfmgr. Any ideas about why this happens? Could it be related to the mounted SATA disk? When I have run the FBA from the CF Card the SATA disk have been mounted, and the first partition of the SATA disk is an active system partition with FBWF. But as i understand the FBWF does not create any hidden partition like EWF, it simply stores the configuration in the root of the boot drive. Thanks in advance, Steffen Duve |
