using Xp with SP2, on a Dell Dimension 4550, suddenly I can't burn using the
ordinary "send to" the CD Rom drive or the DVD drive I also have. Nothing happens even though the files are there in the temp folder. But I can start Nero and I can burn fine. Both devices indicate they are working properly, but it states they HAVE NO MEDIA in them! Any ideas? Thanks. |

This is an issue with Nero's drag and drop application, I also have the same
problem, I disabled Nero's drag and drop in favor of xp's drag and drop. to me it's a personal choice, to each his own. Nero InCD is different to XP's: With InCD you need to format the RW disk
first. I have not used R once disks with InCD nor Roxio DirectCD as these programs are designed to replace existing files or deleting files almost like hard/floppy disk. I haven't used XP's drag to disk as I have better control with Nero or Roxio software.
