Default XP firewall blocks unicast responses to multicast packets

Hi all,
I created a program that could broadcast a SNMP get-request packet and would
receive responses from certain devices. It works fine under IPv4 nomatter
firewall is on or off. However, if I switch to IPv6 and enable Windows
firewall, the response packets would be blocked. I have enabled
multicastbroadcastresponse option by using "netsh firewall set
multicastbroadcastresponse ENABLE" command but it still doesn't work. The
problem occurs on my Windows XP (Pro) SP2 but it doesn't happen on my Vista.
Is there anyone here know what else I can try?
