I record an internet radio station all night (since that's when they
broadcast the good stuff.) Since all I'm doing is running Screamer radio, it would be nice to save a little power when I go to bed. If I put the computer in Standby, what turns off, and will the computer continue recording all night? I have 2GB of memory, and the recordings I end up with run about 500MB by the time morning arrives. Thanks, Norm |

Hello,
No - when you put your system on standby, it goes to a low power state where most devices are turned off. This means that your recordings will stop the moment you enter standby. -- http://www.tompangbuddy.com Share Cab, Carpool and Save Earth in Singapore <normanstrong@comcast.net> wrote in message news:Ss-dnemDlIQbiEDVnZ2dnUVZ_vzinZ2d@comcast.com... >I record an internet radio station all night (since that's when they >broadcast the good stuff.)
