XP Home SP2
Just finished reinatalling everything. When I loaded IE I tried to set Google as my home page. Unfortunately I typed it as www.google,com. In case you can't see it, thats a comma in front of the com. I've "fixed" the problem by going to Google and selecting "Current Page" as well as retyping it and selecting Apply before hitting OK. Neither fix works---when I hit the Home icon it brings up the version with the comma. Anyone got an idea for a permanent fix? |

Check the security programs installed on your computer. Some antivirus/antispyware programs have a feature that locks down the home page setting. Good luck Nepatsfan |
