Default Reloading windows

Hi
I am already running XP pro SP2, and I wanted to reload Movie Maker 2.1, as
mine seems to be dodgy (it fails to respond if I try to move the edit bar on
the time-line, and M/S says there is an update), so I tried to reload SP2,
and all attendant files from the original CD and running SFC /SCANNOW.
Windows XP keeps telling me that the CD I have loaded is not Windows XP pro
SP2, but it is, and it is a genuine CD.
I borrowed another copy of XP SP2, but that did not work either.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
