Is it possible in XP to set up multiple users and restrict or remove access
to some or all of the programs in a particular profile. The wife isn't interested in my business/finance programs, I'm not interested in seeing her hobby/game programs and the kids don't need access to either. I'm also having a couple of glitches caused by programs automatically trying to set themselves up in all profiles by default and then messing up the whole ordeal so that only the profile in which they were installed can access them, but every one else can still see them on the start menu (even though they can't use them). I'd like to do a bit of house keeping and clean that up. |

They could still be started by clicking on their file names but wouldn't be "visible". |

I have the additional complication that I sometimes need to allow clients to use the guest account for my home business purposes. While I'm sure they are also somewhat trustworthy, I wouldn't want to have a lapse of personal security if one of them should decide to have a momentary lapse of propriety. |
