I dial-in to Internet (through Router) and get assigned an
individual dynamic IP as well as 2 (primary and secondary) DNS server IPs. I know how to find out my own IP. But how do I find out the IPs of the two DNS server assigned by the provider? Ken |

You type in like 192.168.1.1 or such. See your manual. Once there, the manual should also tell you how to log in. If some tech installed it and change the master password, which he should have, and he should have told you, then you have it written down. Once you log in, the router stats are available to you. But the DNS the router uses is also the DNS you have in your internet connection properties. You both use the same DNS usually. |

Start button --> RUN --> type in: cmd /k ipconfig /all --> Click ok. Hi
For what purpose you need this info? The provider usually provide a DNS server and there is Nothing concerning this server that is under your control. Alternatively you can assign a manual DNS sever i9n the Router using a Public DNS. http://www.tech-faq.com/public-dns-servers.shtml Jack (MVP-Networking). You have a "working" router which connects correctly to your service provider. Most of the routers I seen / used all have a connection status page. |
